The purpose of 100 Women Who Care is to provide financial support to local charities within the area of each chapter. Specifically for us, local charities in Greeley and the surrounding communities.

All nonprofits are encouraged to apply to be part of the 100 Women Who Care Greeley events.

How it works:

​

1. Apply for an opportunity to receive a donation from 100 Women Who Care Greeley:

      or 

      if you know a member of our organization, reach out to her for sponsorship

 

• Nonprofits represented by a current 100WWCGreeley member will receive priority.

 

Eligibility requirements:

• Licensed as a current 501(c)3 in the state of Colorado.

• Provide Colorado State Licence

• Listed as good standing with the state of Colorado.

• Nonprofits serving Greeley and surrounding small communities

• Complete Nonprofit Prequalification Form and return to WWCGreeley.

• Nonprofit application will be eligible for 1 year from date of application. After such date, please complete new application to ensure eligibility.

• Nonprofit has not received an award from 100WWCGreeley within past 2 years.

 

Application must be returned at least 31 days prior to next event date, otherwise will be entered in following event date.

   2.  Three (3) nonprofits will be randomly selected 30 days prior to the event and notified within 3 days of    selection.

​

   3.  Nonprofit representative will give a 5-minute presentation at the upcoming quarterly event:

​

• Nonprofit will complete a 5-minute presentation and 5 minutes for questions/answers.

• No electronic devices will be allowed (slideshow, etc). You may use handouts and easels.

 

   4.  Attending members will vote for one (1) nonprofit to receive the total donation for the event.

 

   5.  Recipient will be announced.

​

   6.  Recipient will sign Charitable Donation Acceptance form, agreeing to not use donors names for solicitation or publicity as well as agreement to mail each donor a receipt/acknowledgment letter for tax deduction purposes. Self-addressed envelopes will be provided, however postage is the responsibility of the recipient.

​

   7. Checks will be delivered to the recipient that evening.

​

• Members will each write a check directly to the nonprofit so please provide the legal name in presentation.

​

   8.  A nonprofit representative will attend the following quarterly event to give a 10 minute presentation      on how the previous event donations have helped their organization.
